Jan. 28: Kamehameha Schools' Jack Wong

Livingston “Jack” Wong is Chief Executive Officer of Kamehameha Schools (KS) which was founded in 1887 by Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop. The trust’s statewide educational system serves more than 48,000 Hawaiian learners annually through its three K-12 campuses, 30 preschools, and numerous community education and scholarship programs. Last year, KS spent more than $360 million on education.
In addition to overseeing the educational system, his kuleana includes strengthening the trust’s endowment currently valued at approximately $11 billion, and ensuring the wise stewardship of more than 363,000 acres of KS land in Hawaiʻi.
Prior to being named CEO in 2014, Jack served as an attorney for KS for 17 years, most recently as Vice President of Legal Services and General Counsel.
